Description:

Have you done everything you can to make sure that your supervisors and employees are prepared to deal with a workplace violence situation if they are even faced with one?

While we’d all prefer to avoid dealing with workplace violence, it’s a fact that it is occurring with alarming frequency. OSHA statistics indicate that nearly two million U.S. workers report experiencing workplace violence every single year, and it seems like more and more episodes are making national and worldwide headlines.

Implementing preventive measures before there is a problem is a key to reducing the likelihood of experiencing a workplace violence event. Providing training is an important aspect of any prevention effort, and is the best way to ensure that company leaders know how to watch for warning signs and are prepared to handle situations that might develop as effectively as possible.
